Angela Rapti, born in Athens, grew up with a particular fondness of shoes. As a young woman she discovered the shoemaking school EL.KE.DE (Hellenic Leather Center) and immediately wanted to learn more about design and construction of the shoe by hand.

The more she learned the greater her excitement rose in the possibilities of the craft that she decided to dedicate herself to this art as a lifelong profession. Today she designs and manufactures her own lines of shoes bearing the name “Angela Rapti Shoes”.

Reminiscent of the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s her designs seem as if they have come directly from vintage film sets. Bright colors with small design detail give a highly romantic and elegant result that is adored at first glance.

By appointment Angela will undertake to compose your selection, chosen from her collections according to the textiles she uses. Her greatest joy and aim is to witness the pleasure and satisfaction on her clients faces.
